First up I do not work on Commodores so dont even ring. Oh and no 4x4s either.
Kustom Bitz can fit a supercharger kit you purchased or diagnose problems with your supercharged Hot Rod or Custom. What we do here is fitting work and what ever else is required to get it right. Engine mods, plumbing, wiring, ignition systems, accelerator cable hook up, carby conversion, cutting holes in bonnets, inner guards, what ever to make the job neat and right. The pics show some examples of our work.
There is more to a supercharger install than just bolting it on, I have a good understanding of how a supercharger works and how the other internal and external engine parts effect performance, idle quality and drivability. I have converted standard Holley and quickfuel carburettors to being boost referenced to correct engines running too rich. This is a service we also offer just to convert the carbies, details listed here on our website.
A supercharged engine should start easy, have crisp throttle response, no black smoke pissing out the exhaust and should behave in all weather conditions. If its not doing all these things nicely there is something wrong.
Engine vacuum assisted brakes [brake booster] is something else that can be badly effected by bolting a supercharger on. If your pedal is really hard by the time you come to that last bit of the rolling stop, thats the supercharger causing that condition. It can be solved too.
This is not a product - It is service.
Price is indicative of hours typically involved, give or take, for a proper installation, however just to diagnose an issue in most cases initial consultation is free to work out what it might be, then you can decide from there.
All work is done at our standard hourly rate, plus parts, plus materials.
